2013 SIAM Conference on Mathematical and Computational Issues in the Geosciences
Welcome to 2013 SIAM Conference on Mathematical and Computational Issues in the Geosciences Webpage
June 17-20, Padua, Italy
Here you will find all the information you need on the Conference
SIAM GS13 is organized by the Activity Group on Geosciences with the aim at providing an interactive
environment where modelers concerned with problems of the geosciences can share their issues with algorithm
developers, applied mathematicians, numerical analysts, and other scientists. Topics of interest include slow
in porous media, multiphase flows, phase separation, wave propagation, combustion, channel flows, global and
regional climate modeling, reactive flows, atmospheric circulation, and geomechanics.
The conference is biennial and takes place alternatively in the U.S. and Europe. It's the first time this event
is held in Italy.
If you are tweeting about the conference, please use the designated hashtag to enable other attendees to keep up with the Twitter conversation and to allow better archiving of our conference discussions. The hashtag for this meeting is #SIAMGS13.

Math of Planet Earth 2013
